We’re organising a reading group on Deleuze’s ‘The Fold: Leibniz and the Baroque’, starting Thursday 4th June and continuing into the summer vacation.
The first session will be 6 – 7:30pm in Room 2107, Richard Hoggart Building, Goldsmiths, and we’ll meet at the same time weekly.
We’ll look at chapter one, ‘The Pleats of Matter’, in the first session, and will also refer to Leibniz’s ‘Principles of Nature and Grace, Based on Reason’ and ‘Monadology’ .
We may also go to the Baroque exhibition currently on at the Victoria & Albert.
Please e-mail Matthew or Helen for more information at vap01md@gold.ac.uk
